Govia Thameslink Railway new stabling facilities in Cambridge is where the new class 700 trains for Thameslink will be kept, cleaned and prepared for service. The new 12-carriage trains sets stabled at Cambridge will add over 1000 extra standard-class seats to the busy network services in the peak hours.

Volker Rail and VolkerFitzpatrick carried out the associated remodelling work of the old Chesterton sidings, as part of the CP5 Multifunctional Framework agreement. Premier Rail were asked to provide the labour and experience required for the construction of the walkways for the associated works. All safe walking routes constructed to Network Rail specification and FRP grating from Dura Composites. One if the major achievements was the late involvement of Premier Rail, Brought in to help turn around the project, bringing it home, "ahead of schedule and under budget", to the clients total satisfaction.
